Art is a form of communication. Like all communication it is made of symbols people can read. The magic of design is turning familiar words and images into something familiar enough to understand, exciting enough to achieve the goal, and invisible enough to stay out of the way. For this reason, we can only make art together.

I find that my best ideas stay small when I’m alone. Discussion will give your idea legs. How can you chase your dreams, if your dreams can’t run?

Every logo begins with a spark. The inspiration that made your eyes open wide and your heart pick up speed. Write this down. We will need this spark all the way to the end, even if we end up miles away.

Layout design is any document that arranges multiple elements like pictures, words and art. This can mean something as small as a business card or an entire magazine publication. Layout design is fun, and it also happens to be my specialty.

I’ve made brochures and postcards and menus and banners. Calling cards and mailers and labels and even whole books of poetry.

I handle all artwork with the same care wether it’s a picture for your business’s instagram, or 150,000 copies of a brochure.
